picture day!

On Wednesday was picture day in our school.
Like every year I try to get up a little bit earlier, so there is more time for make up and hair.
And this year (my Matura year) guess what, I got up too late!
There was not really much time left for doing my make up or my hair.

So this are the products I've used. And I have to say, the make up was pretty fine for doing it in under 15 minutes!! ;)

For the face I used:

Bourjois healthy mix foundation in 52
Benefit erase paste in number 2 under the eyes
Benefit boing concealer
Benefit powder in Champagne
Gosh bronzer in 001 bronze
Benefit sugarbomb blush

For the eyes:

Estee Lauder mascara
Maybelline Color Tatoo in bad to the bronzed

and my all time favorite Urban Dekay Naked 2 Palette, since I bought it in Rome in June I used it quite often and I have to say I love it !!

So here is a picture of me just in case you're wondering what I look like ;)

strasbourg haul!

Yesterday evening I came home from a fun week in Strasbourg, France.
We did a lot of seightseeing and the few hours we had left for our own, we spent with shopping!

And here are the things I bought:

1.) first of all some things from KIKO. I was in desperate need of a new concealer, so I decided to try a new one. And when I saw this one, I tought why not try it. I have used it only once and I kinda like it. But I have to try it a little longer, so I can tell you what I think about it.
And the second thing I bought at Kikos was an energy mask. We tried it when we were in the hotel. I comes out all black and looks really funny. When you wash it of your face is really soft.

2.) some soap from a little store. I forgot the name of it, I'm sorry. But it smells so guad. It's like heaven. I don't even want to use it.

3.) Finaly I can try it. The well known Benefit they're real mascara. I really love it! It makes your lashes really long and black. I think it's going to be my new favourite.

4.) Bioderma. Everyone is raving about this. And when I saw it in the stores I had to get it. Since I bought it I used it every day. In the morning and in evening. It's really cool, because you get all the make-up of your face. And a real plus is, that my super sensetiv skin likes it to.

5.) And of course. White Wine! As a present for my parents and a good friend of mine. And my favourite is the "Gewürztraminer".

And the last thing: My first Longchamp! I always wanted one. And when I was in the store, I thought why not buy one, whily I'm in France. It always a good souvenier. It took me some time to decide the colour. But in the end I think I made a good choise.

Those were all the things I bought. Next time I'm going to show you some pictures of the things we did. so stay tuned.

perfect apple pie!

Another recipe for you guys! ;)

Today I was in mood for a slice of apple pie. Since it's really easy to make I thought I would show you how to make the perfect one. :)

What you'll need:

for the dough:
280 gramms flour
teaspoon baking powder
140 gramms of unsalted butter
100 gramms sugar
teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
a pinch of salt
1 egg yolk
4 tablespoons milk

for the filling:
4 peeled apples
1 tablespoon cinnamon (or even more)
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons grated walnuts (depending on your taste)
fresh lemon juice
fresh lemon zest

1. Measure all the ingridients and put them in a big bowl. now knead the dough by hand, until it holds             together.
Then preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.

2. Put the finished dough aside and let him rest a little bit.
Meanwhile peele all your apples and cut them into small pieces.
Take the apples and put them into a big bowl and toss them with the lemon juice, which will prevent them from browning. Afterwards put all the other ingridients in the bowl as well and toss everything.

3. Take half of your dough and roll it out and put it into the pie pan. Trim the edges. Make some wholes with a fork as shown in the picture and put it into the oven for about 10 minutes.
Take the pie out from the oven and put the filling onto the bottom layer of your pie crust.

4. With the second half of the dough you're going to make the top layer of your apple pie.
Roll out the top layer and put in on your pie. Then you have to seal the edges and you're almost finished.
The only thing you have to do now is making some slits into the top layer.
Put your apple pie for an hour into the oven by 180 degrees C.

Have fun when you're trying my recipe! :)
